Server Update!


Server Progress!

So today and yesterday I got a working Login and Registration system for the game working (Check .gif below). It didn't take long since I have been handling databases outside of game development. Every password is encrypted for the users security. I am planing to encrypt the password before its gets send to the server. Since Security is a very important part in a online game I will take more time to think about the security parts of my code. I will now start to sync the players position smoothly between clients and trying to adding a physics package to my server for server-sided physics.

Plans for next week!

As I said above I am planing to sync the player smoothly between clients and then I will try to implement a physics engine to the server for server sided physics so its easier to detect cheaters in the game. I will post updates if I have something I wanna share here.

Devlog update!

So I will start making a devlog every friday to update you on what I have done on the weekends. If I have a major update I wanna share I will also post a new devlog on that matter.
